We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic highly engaging graduate/qualified sports coach/instructor to be a part of developing a busy and successful PE Department, where pupils are bright, highly motivated, results are outstanding, and facilities are excellent.

We are seeking someone with a mixed skill set to deliver engaging and energetic PE lessons in a variety of activities across our Primary phase. The role also includes the delivery of gross motor intervention sessions and Personal Development/PSHE lessons.

You will deliver both curricular and extra-curricular PE and Sport alongside completion of administrative tasks within the PE department. You will be working with PE teachers, sports coaches and other staff across the curriculum. The role represents an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience before following a career in teaching or sports coaching.

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012.  Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
