Class Teacher and Phase Leader required at our happy and successful school

We are looking for an inspiring and experienced teacher to join our teaching team and Senior Leadership Team. This is a permanent and full time role with a TLR for Phase Leadership Responsibilities. The role is most likely to be based in a KS2 class at first.

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher, willing to take an active role in the life of our school.  You will be joining a well-established team in a position of middle leadership, so you will need to build relationships with pupils, parents and staff, as well as demonstrating effective and credible leadership for the staff and pupils in your phase.  You have high expectations for the academic achievements of every pupil, whilst being committed to improving the life chances of our children by both raising attainment and contributing to our experience-rich curriculum.  You will be reflective and innovative, with the potential and desire to keep learning throughout your career.

Victoria Park Primary School is a vibrant, happy and successful school.  We are a hard-working team, committed to achieving excellence and providing the best possible opportunities for our children.  We pride ourselves on developing a happy environment for staff to work in and positive relationships between adults and children.

At Victoria Park we can offer you:

• well-behaved and enthusiastic children

• supportive and friendly colleagues

• excellent professional development opportunities both within our own school and across the Cathedral Schools Trust

We would encourage visits to our school, but given the short timeframe we appreciate this may not be possible for everyone.

Please email Kathryn Heath, Business Manager, on kheath@victoriaparkprimary.co.uk to express your interest in visiting the school.

The closing date for applications is 18th May 2021 at midnight

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview on Thursday 27th May 2021, which will include a teaching task, a small range of written submissions and a formal interview.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All posts at Cathedral Schools Trust are subject to pre-employment checks including, but not limited to, initial and periodic enhanced level checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
