Teacher of German & French

Applications are invited for a well-qualified and enthusiastic part-time teacher of German and French up to GCSE level, with effect from September 2018. 

The Modern Foreign Language (MFL) faculty promotes the teaching of six foreign languages including Russian, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, French and Spanish. French is taught as a compulsory subject in Year 7 and as an optional subject from Year 8 and German is taught as an optional subject from Year 8, so we are keen to find a teacher who will motivate our pupils to continue with French in Year 8, and with German in Year 9 and beyond. 

The students are keen and motivated and enjoy extra-curricular activities such as clubs, lectures, language days and a residential home stay/exchange in France and Germany. The Modern Languages Faculty comprises ten teachers who add an international flavour to the Oxford High staff and are most welcoming and supportive.
