Job overview

Bristol Grammar School is seeking a full-time Technical Manager for the 1532 Performing Arts Centre from February 2023.

This is a key role, with the post-holder expected to provide a one-stop shop service for all events requiring coordination of technical service across both 1532 and Bristol Grammar School. This includes supporting visiting companies to the theatre by acting as duty technician, supporting sound, lighting and audio visual. As well as supporting teaching staff for talks, presentations, meetings, concerts, plays and other events which take place in school venues including any requirements for technical support during lessons. In addition, the post holder is responsible for health and safety within the performing arts centre.
