Les quatre amis - animaux et couleurs

A lesson to support the telling of the story of 'les quatre amis'. I have not included the story itself as there are plenty of versions available by other authors. Also included are some verbs - galope, court, sautille and trottine. Includes lots of suggestions for ways to employ this resource - games, AfL and sentence building.

French story: 'Les cinq sens de Patamodo A.'

French story: 'Les cinq sens de Patamodo A.'

An interactive story read in French, involving the pupils to connect with the story through patterned questions and answers. Fun and modern story about a character called 'Patamodo A', made of playdough. This character starts from being a ball of playdough. Step by step, he learns how to turn into a capital A shape. He learns about the parts of the body he needs to see, hear, touch, taste and smell. Everything also relates around words beginning with A. It is a fantastic story that has proven to be very successful and interactive with young children.
