Google Tour Creator- Creating a FREE web-based Google Street Maps Based 'Virtual Tour'

Google Tour Creator is a FREE web-based tool lets you build a VR ‘tour’ using Google Street View imagery and the bonus is that you can even add your own 360 photos, if you have that available. The interface is designed with educators and pupil in mind and is all simply drag-and-drop. The flexibility of tour creator is that you can choose any points of interest within the Google Street View maps and add extra texts, or points of interest if you like. With the Virtual Tour you can save any tour you have made and also publish it, for public or private use. The ability to import tours to the Google Expeditions app is not available yet but will be very soon states Google. Being able to create an Expedition and share it with a classroom of pupils is a great opportunity for technology being able to bring people closer, to understand other people worlds. Not every pupil will need a VR headset as this can be created and used on a laptop attached to an interactive whiteboard, but for those that are lucky enough to have a class set the sense of immersion and engagement would be outstanding I think. This presentation informs you what Google Tour Creator is and I have created a simple model that can be used to show pupils as an example.

In light of poor fieldwork answers to the Specimen Papers from OCR. This lesson covers theory, OS Map skills, methodology, collection of data, analysis and evaluation of methods. This is linked to a SPECIMEN PAPER I have created based on our fieldwork to River Cray and is tailored from the early Specimen B fieldwork questions on Coasts and Rivers. CHEAP PRICE AND RESOURCES THAT HAVE TAKEN HOURS TO COMPLETE. I have included the fieldwork booklet from 2017 as a work booklet. This booster ties all of the fieldwork together and can be delivered as a Mock Paper or Walk and Talk Mock. It takes questions from the Specimen Paper and tailors it towards a river case study. The lesson question structure is as follows: Challenge- Which section of the river do you think this is? Suggest why. [2]; 3 1 mark questions based on mode, mean and the range; State two ways the photograph can be used effectively in data presentation in the student’s fieldwork investigation. [2]; Complete the cross section of the River Cray using the data below. [1] Calculate the Mean Depth of the channel for site 1. Show your working out below. [2] Complete the cross section from the data presentation sheet. [1] Look at the formula above to work out the cross section area for site 1 along the River Cray.
