We All Need A Home. Talk about homes around the world.

This beautifully illustrated story and the song which accompanies it were originally created for one of my ESL programmes but you will find them just as useful for younger English-speaking primary students. Learn about the different homes that children live in around the world, encourage empathy and kick-start a class project about how other people live. Illustrations by Maria Tarrago and design by Eva Morell.

Next to each word there is space for students to either write the definition in English or to write the translation in their native language. ESL Conversation: "Are you busy?" - Free ESL Resource!

Great and easy conversation starter! I use it with elementary/pre-intermediate students mostly, though of course through follow up questions it can be used with higher level students as well :) I’ve found it’s also a good idea to give one of these to each small group and have the students share their answers and personal experiences :) Included: 1 jpg/A4 pdf file. If you enjoy this free resource, please help me with a nice review :)
