GERMAN SPEAKING CARDS 3&4

GERMAN SPEAKING CARDS 3&4

PERFECT FOR DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS IN GERMAN - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH A FOCUS ON SEPARABLE VERBS IN BOTH THE PRESENT AND PERFECT TENSE - 200 QUESTION & ANSWER CARDS WITH REFERENCE BOOKLETS Perfect for speaking practice, and multi-skill language learning, this combined pack of TALK TIME IN GERMAN, SETS 3 and 4, provides 200 question and answer prompt cards that give your students structured talk opportunities, and will also get them listening, reading and writing. They’re ideal for independent learning, and perfect for pair and small-group work. The sets focus on 25 high-frequency separable verbs, in both the present and the perfect tense. The prompt cards also feature language and structures that your students are likely to meet in the more intermediate stages of their GERMAN learning, including modal verbs, word order, case and prepositions governed by the accusative and dative. The REFERENCE BOOKLETS include all the questions and answers written out in full in GERMAN. Students find these very useful learning support resources and they’re also handy whole-group pronunciation practice and reading-out loud resources. Students use the NOTES AND NEXT STEPS template to reflect on their learning, and think about what they might reasonably do to progress in their learning. The QUESTION AND ANSWER WRITING TEMPLATES give students the opportunity to apply their GERMAN very practically, as they create both questions and answers for each other. This is a great team activity too. These sets are great complementary resources to other sets in the TALK TIME IN GERMAN series, but work perfectly well as standalone resources too. You can also use the cards for a whole range of games, and I’ve described how to play several you can start with. The resource consists of four non-editable files: **SET 3 PROMPT CARDS WITH PROMPT CARD TEMPLATE AND REFERENCE BOOKLET WITH ALPHABETICAL GERMAN-ENGLISH VERB LIST ** SET 4 PROMPT CARDS WITH PROMPT CARD TEMPLATE AND REFERENCE BOOKLET WITH ALPHABETICAL GERMAN-ENGLISH VERB LIST I’ve included a selection of preview images an idea of what the resource looks like as a whole. The sets are also available individually if you prefer, each priced at £3.00. Please read the Terms of Use carefully: this resource is copyright, and for single-teacher/purchaser use only. Jobs: German Vocabulary Card Sort

Jobs: German Vocabulary Card Sort

This is a card sort to help students learn words for jobs (40 words in total). They are presented in the masculine der form (to keep the design simple), however, this can easily be changed to the feminine form by adding -in at the end (any irregular forms are stated). This would be a useful task with younger groups or low ability groups. There are three separate files, depending on how you want to present the task. - The 'teacher copy' shows a grid with all items already matched. - The 'student version' is a random layout, print this out and give to students. They can then cut out the items and match them, or stick them into their workbooks. - The 'quick cut' is designed so that you can produce 10 packs of cards quickly and easily using a guillotine. Each page has the same card 10 times over. This allows you to remove words that may not be suitable or needed.
