reading measure scales

reading measure scales

These differentiated worksheets allow for children to either read a scale (you will need to draw on the levels) or draw on measures. I am planning to give children some wrappers and labels so they can draw the weight on the scale. I hope these are useful!

mental maths visual starters

This is a coleect of prompmts that I use to cover a wide range of different topics in my starters. I might use a collect of different weights and then give each pair the laminated "scales" and they have to add them up and show "how much they weigh". The digital clocks can be laminated an then used to convert analogue times. Can the children match the net with the 3d shape?

Year 2 I can statements frog and lily pad targets

Year 2 I can statements frog and lily pad targets

With babyjeebus’ permission I have adapted her lily pads to use alongside her frogs! I have typed up the I can statements for Unit 1 of each Block for Year 2 Renewed Framework. I have adapted some of the statements and added some of my own to cover some of the longer learning objectives. Don’t think these are perfect but may be a starting point for a class targets display! I plan to have a frog prince/princess of the week for my Numeracy set.
