Component 2 LAA. BTEC TECH AWARD - Health and Social- writing frame and a mark scheme to go with it

Component 2 LAA. BTEC TECH AWARD - Health and Social- writing frame and a mark scheme to go with it

For Level 2 BTEC TECH Award - Component 2 – LAA Have you finished delivering component 2 LAA? Are you ready for your students to write up LAA? Then use this writing frame which covers all tasks. I have made the writing frame so the tasks can be done by students independently and they can complete the sections that they are comfortable with (pass, merit or distinction). The writing frame is aimed at Level 2 Pass and above pupils (up to distinction). Can be differentiated by simply adding in sentence starters and prompts. There is a mark scheme to go along with it – it will save you hours marking as all you need to do is tick which task you think the student has done! The student then uses this to go back and complete the tasks that you have highlighted. Good luck 😊

(Chemical and Household Dangers) The Story of Cosmetics - Video Guide

Free Resource! Please leave your valuable feedback. Also consider following me ;) Thanks! This is a 3 page video guide in PDF format. The video link is embedded in the title. I wanted to teach my daughters more about the chemicals they were constantly rubbing all over themselves! I wanted them to value their natural beauty, but yet still be able to use cosmetics from an informed standpoint. Ahh...to have a mom who is a teacher..... Video Summary: "The Story of Cosmetics, released on July 21st, 2010, examines the pervasive use of toxic chemicals in our everyday personal care products, from lipstick to baby shampoo. Produced with Free Range Studios and hosted by Annie Leonard, the seven-minute film by The Story of Stuff Project reveals the implications for consumer and worker health and the environment, and outlines ways we can move the industry away from hazardous chemicals and towards safer alternatives. The film concludes with a call for viewers to support legislation aimed at ensuring the safety of cosmetics and personal care products."
