      Data tracking spreadsheet

      Data tracking spreadsheet

Easy to input data from SATs papers taken throughout the year (including actual SATs results). Automatically calculates totals and percentages (based on which test has been taken). Spreadsheet also allows comparison between scores (to check progress) - this shows raw and percentage score increases. Standardised scores can also be inputted. Spreadsheet is particularly useful in showing test progress in low scoring students. Notes: - Spreadsheet currently only has space for 11 names, so cells/formula will need to be extended to the desired number of names. - When inputting names, you only need to input these into the Autumn spreadsheet (the rest will fill in automatically). - Conditional formatting of Standardised scores is based on typical 100=EXP/110=GD boundaries - If a child scores 0 in an earlier test, a percentage increase cannot be shown (as dividing by 0 - they will have improved their score by an infinite percentage).

      Assessment against initial baseline

      Assessment against initial baseline

This resource is to assess students with an Education, Care and Health Plan (EHCP) that can be used year on year to assess students against their initial baseline assessment. This resource would work well with Baseline Assessment for new students (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/baseline-assessment-summary-sheet-11675225?theme=1). This resource will help evidence progress students, particularly those with SEND needs, make year on year- always useful for Ofsted, LEA and parents.

      Baseline Assessment Summary Sheet

      Baseline Assessment Summary Sheet

This resource is to fully assess students who will have an Education, health and care plan (EHCP) when they join a new school. It assesses all aspects of a students well being and then fragments them in into micro assessments so that progress a students makes in all areas of their school life can be assessed. This includes personal care, mobility, communication and behaviour. This assessment can then be re-assessed year on year against the initial baseline to demonstrate progress against the baseline and the students entry into a new education establishment. Always useful when Ofsetd or the LEA needs evidence of student progress.

All your 1-9 generators in one bundle

All your 1-9 generators in one bundle

A generator for 1- 9 (use fo KS3 or non tiered tests whole school) Foundation Generator (1-5) Caps students at 5H Higher Generator (4-9) Limits students to standards N,4,5,6,7,8,9,. Simply, you enter you test scores and it spits out grade boundaries from 1 - 9 (each standard broken into 3 confidence levels). Wait there is more, it uses the spread of you data to assign boundaries. Set a test too hard? No problem, no longer do you need to moderate and adjust boundaries, it does it for you, no more data spikes and dips! It uses the max and minimum grades to set a range, which it divides by the substandard within 1- 9. Clever. Want to check the stretch of the test? No issue, the hand histogram show you the spread of results on your test and helps you quickly alter assessments for future use. Just want grade boundaries, click on the tab and send them out to your team, you now look like a genius! Want to save time, click the final tab where each student has their attainment calculated and reported automatically! I created this because there was nothing, we now are using it whole school to quality assure, assess and report predicted attainment at end of GCSE 1 - 9. Excel file has cells unlocked for your data entry and to ensure no plagiarism takes place.

      NPQSL Combined Submission (SMSC)

      NPQSL Combined Submission (SMSC)

I recently completed the NPQSL with a focus on developing SMSC across STEM subjects. I am happy to share my research with people to provide an example of best practice. There were no recommendations made from the assessor at National College who assessed this whereby it met all criterion for certification. Please acknowledge any citations in your own research, but do feel free to use this for your own research purposes.
