New A Level - Reading activities - Education - Authentic articles - Exam questions - EDEXCEL

I selected authentic articles dealing with current affairs/issues in France following the A Level textbook (Edexcel) guidelines. In this booklet you will find 5 articles with an exam style questions for each article! As they are authentic, they are challenging and I use them mostly for homework asking students to search new vocabulary (vocabulary highlighted in yellow needs to be searched by students before having a go at answering questions) The answers are given, you will have to remove the “(v)” that shows where the correct answers are before printing this file for your students. There is also a box where they can write (in English or in French) facts they have learned from these articles (as this could be used for their speaking exams). Reading authentic articles will also train them for their IRP
