Soy una Taza - Song and Cooking Vocab Spanish

No prep needed! In this worksheet there is a matching warmup, where students match the vocabulary from Soy una taza (the song --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AdJPY2Hf7U) Next, the students watch the video and fill in the lyrics to the song using the vocab from the warm up. Finally, I have students learn the dance and act out all the vocab. (my students are in middle school, even though the song is primary they love it!)

Speaking cards and questions: Los movimientos populares (new A Level)

Speaking cards and questions: Los movimientos populares (new A Level)

A varied collection of cards on evictions and La Ley Mordaza, indigenous protests in Guatemala, Catalonia, rubbish collection protests, etc. You are spoilt for variety here! These cards are followed by general questions. The cards and questions can be used in class, set for homework, used in mocks or anything that stretches your imagination! I have also published revision notes on this topic. These can help with the preparation of some cards or to consolidate/extend knowledge of the topic. Feedback is always welcome. Enjoy, Blanca

Los movimientos populares: Notas de revisión (new A Level)

Los movimientos populares: Notas de revisión (new A Level)

Revision notes on this "bodrio" of a theme! I have tried to simplify as much as possible a subject that I believe is not too appealing for the majority of students. You can use the revision notes in a variety of ways: students make flash cards with them, to introduce a subtopic, to revise vocab in context, for ideas for the IRP, etc. A set of stimulus cards and general questions complements these notes, but both usable as individual resources. Feedback on this resource always welcome. And thanks for those who are showing continuous support for my work. Enjoy, Blanca

Guided Practice Cooking Vocab Spanish

Guided Practice Cooking Vocab Spanish

This Guided Practice Walks students through practicing Spanish cooking vocabulary used from this Quizlet. https://quizlet.com/246899237/cooking-vocabulary-flash-cards/ It goes from easy to more difficult. First students match vocabulary, then use a word bank to fill in an authentic patatas bravas recipe from Spain, then they write full sentences in spanish (translate) and then respond to a question to connect them to the vocabulary in Spanish. If they finish early there is a small drawing vocab activity and a way that students can rate themselves as an exit ticket with the vocab.
