The Governors wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher for September 2018, to join the School's Leadership Team at this 11-16 co-educational Community School. The salary for this post is £58,389 - £63,779 per annum.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a range of leadership skills, experience of managing whole school developments, proven classroom ability. This post will be leading on the development and quality assurance of Teaching & Learning. This post will of course have additional responsibilities in line with the level of senior leadership. The major pre-requisites for the post are drive, determination and enthusiasm. They will be joining a leadership team determined to deliver excellence in all aspects of our work.
Tottington High School is an 11-16 comprehensive school with a roll of just over 900 students and total of 80+ staff. It is located on the north side of Bury in the village of Tottington, with easy access to motorways. The last Ofsted inspection was in November 2015 and we were graded as ‘Good’. Report available online.
Interviews will be held on week beginning 12th March 2018.
Applicants are asked to write a letter of application to the Headteacher of no more than 2 sides of A4, (minimum text size 11 Arial), to accompany the application form, outlining their experience relevant to the post and stating why they feel they would be suitable for the post. Please do not include a CV.
