Job overview

Do you see education and learning as a way of life rather than just a job? Are you a risk-taker with a healthy balance between purposeful intensity and a good sense of humour? If so, then St Gilgen International School is looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Digital Learning Coordinator to contribute to the future growth of our amazing school.

The successful candidate will be an excellent and innovative classroom practitioner with a passion for Digital Learning across the full school age range. In addition as this is a 50%-50% role, experience of non-IT subject teaching (any subject considered) at IB Diploma level, or equivalent, would be advantageous, as would IB Middle Years Programme experience. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to all aspects of learning within our 24/7 boarding school environment, including co-curricular activities, student mentoring and boarding house care; this does include some evening and weekend commitments.

St. Gilgen International School (StGIS) was founded in 2008 as a co-educational boarding and day school for students aged 9 to 18. In May 2016, ownership of the school passed to a not-for-profit foundation of parents of the school community (Privatstiftung). This ownership model harnesses our unique community spirit and drives us to work together in a continued effort to improve and grow.

As we emerge from the pandemic, and a cycle of whole-school accreditation (CIS/WASC) and evaluation (IBDP and MYP), we are embarking on our next chapter; going from strong to stronger. If you want to be part of this journey, and work at a school that is friendly and purposeful; one which aspires to HIGH STANDARDS in a low threat atmosphere of collaboration and mutual support, then please review the attached information and submit your tailored application as detailed below.

Our Mission, Vision and Values

As a passionate community we inspire our students to discover their strengths and develop a lifelong love of learning so they can make a positive impact in this world. We do this by offering excellence in care, education, and activities.

Every child has talent and StGIS will develop it.

Excellence | Integrity | Passion
