Job overview

We are looking to appoint a Director of Sport to innovate and drive overall strategy of an exceptional sport provision throughout Godolphin, from Prep to Sixth. The successful candidate will charismatically lead the department to deliver on the sport strategy, as well as maintaining high standards and promoting Godolphin's four core values; ambition, authenticity, kindness and courage. Expert coaching in one or more key sports is required together with inspiration of Godolphin's Sports Scholars with an exciting programme and opportunities.

We place huge value on physical education, providing a broad spectrum of engaging and inspiring activities to encourage participation. We recognise the positive impact sport has on the happiness and wellbeing of students.

Our co-curricular activities are vital to supporting the academic and pastoral objectives that prepare students for adult life. In addition to the traditional programmes such as Combined Cadet Force, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Leiths School of Food and Wine, we offer many opportunities for students to discover their abilities, learn life skills and build confidence.
