Job overview

ISTIP is an England-wide and overseas statutory Appropriate Body for ECT induction, servicing fee paying independent schools. It is a highly regarded organisation within the educational sector, both within the independent sector and at the national level.

ISTIP is expanding its HQ team and seeks to appoint a Director of Training to work alongside the Executive Director. This is a new role and is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passionate commitment to education, teacher induction and professional development.

The Independent Schools Teacher Induction Panel (ISTIP) is an England-wide and overseas statutory body for the induction of Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in independent schools. It is one of two national statutory bodies and is a company limited by guarantee. It sets and upholds high standards with regard to the processes and procedures of induction within schools whilst using its experience to enable these schools to provide quality and meaningful induction for their teachers.
