Job overview
Required from February half-term or Summer Term 2021
Full time
Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for 570 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, we operate the Diamond Edge Model of education underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos.
The Computing Department and associated technologies are growing successfully within the School. We are looking to appoint a strong and enthusiastic Head of Department, able to teach GCSE and A level Computing, who possesses the desire and commitment to manage, develop and promote this highly successful department. The successful candidate will need to share the School’s enthusiasm and vision for the integration of pupil devices into the school curriculum from September 2021.
A commitment to the broader education of pupils through extra-curricular activities is an expectation. Experience of computing related activities and especially coding, robotics and gaming would be particularly advantageous. The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff and parents and the wider school community.
