This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to take the lead as Head of our Psychology Department.  

As Head of Psychology, you will assume overall responsibility for the leadership of the department, overseeing an inspiring and challenging curriculum, whilst ensuring that the school's high standards of teaching and learning are delivered. You will be joining the department at an exciting time, as we seek to reintroduce Psychology at A Level. This provides a rare opportunity to approach the role with a blank slate, working with Senior Management to establish a new and dynamic Psychology Department within our Sixth Form offering. 

We expect you will be a natural and comfortable leader, both confident in collaborating with and leading a team, maintaining excellent decision-making and communication skills. You will provide essential experience of teaching KS5 Psychology, pairing this with a good degree in Psychology as well as qualified teacher status. You will be able to provide a key understanding of professional developments within your subject area, including awareness of the national and examination curricular requirements within your department.
