Job overview

We are seeking the right person to provide outstanding leadership and management for our three-form-entry Primary phase of a very special school where everyone is Valued, Challenged and Inspired.

Already a Head Teacher in a smaller school or with similar, successful experience, you will ensure all our students know they are ‘made in God’s image’ and are therefore infinitely precious, morally responsible and gifted for a purpose.

Ensuring our students have the very best educational start in life in an environment where everyone is Valued, Challenged, and Inspired, you will embed our vibrant, celebratory, and inclusive Christian ethos, which runs as a “golden thread” through the curriculum, our approach to behaviour management and personal development and in our dealings with parents and the wider community – many of whom may not be Christians themselves.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the primary phase, supporting teachers to improve their practice, developing the curriculum, ensuring the timely use of appropriate assessments, and raising standards. You will work collaboratively and closely with secondary colleagues to ensure a whole-school approach. As part of the Trust Senior Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues in other schools across the Trust.

There is an occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practising Christian.

We’re a growing Trust; whether you already have a strong track record as a Head Teacher/Principal or are currently a senior leader seeking a highly rewarding and challenging role prior to your first headship, you will be ready to take your next step and will have the skills and ability to bring your vision to life.
