The Home School Support Worker (HSSW) will play a key role in the day to day offer from this large and varied Pastoral Team by supporting the Heads of Year to ensure that students are supported and safeguarded. The HSSW will work with families along with some mentoring of students to assist the pastoral team.

If you have a positive approach, you are resilient and can enhance our team to support our young people in overcoming barriers to their learning in order for them to achieve their full potential, we would like to talk to you. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward thinking school. This position would be suitable for someone with recent experience with working with young people or has a passion for supporting young people- do you want to help secondary aged students in the journey through life. The ability to speak a second language, or to use sign language would be advantageous.
