IT Technician (experienced)

Due to the expansion of the Acorn Education Trust we would like to recruit an experienced IT Technician to join our dynamic and friendly team as soon as possible. Reporting to the Trust’s IT Manager, the post holder will support the IT infrastructure across schools within the Trust by providing technical support to students and staff.

The role will be primarily based at one of our education hubs (Warminster, Trowbridge or Amesbury areas) but travel between the sites may be needed.

The successful candidate will:

• Have an outstanding all-round knowledge of IT hardware and software; an appropriate IT qualification is desirable
• Have over three years’ experience
• Hold a full driving license
• Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with staff and students with varying IT expertise; previous experience of carrying out a similar client facing role would be an advantage
• Be self-motivated, dedicated, consistent and have a confident personality
• Be a really strong team player
• Proven leadership skills would be advantageous;
• Be interested in developing a career within a growing multi academy trust
