The Deanery CE Academy is a new school, in the heart of Wichelstowe with the most amazing facilities, inspirational staff and incredible students. We are searching for a MDSA (Midday Supervisors) to join us on this incredible journey, and to help all of our students as they move into Secondary school. The vacant post for 7.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday term time only.

Actual salary is £10.50 per hour.

We are seeking to appoint dedicated, caring and committed people to join our enthusiastic and supportive team and the successful candidate will understand the importance of health and safety and behaviour management at lunchtimes

You will need to be an enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated individual who: 

  • has experience of working with children. 
  • has excellent communication skills to establish positive lunch/class relationships. 
  • has a helpful, caring and understanding nature. 
  • has the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


You will be required to: 

  • To be responsible for the supervision of all student behaviour during the lunch break, in the school buildings, playground, or other areas of the Campus, and to share in school ethos of promoting a positive approach to behaviour management in line with Pivotal behaviour management, following appropriate policies. 
  • Show initiative and flexibility 
  • Build effective relationships with children and colleagues.

This post is suited to those have experience as a MDSA in a Secondary setting. You should have also achieved at least GCSE Grade C or Grade 5 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).

The Deanery CE Academy is a new school in the heart of the community of Wichelstowe, Swindon. Just 10 minutes from J16 on the M4. We have the most amazing facilities on site at the Wichelstowe Trinity Learning Campus, and beyond within our wonderful new community.
