Job overview

King Henry School has an opportunity for a Safeguarding Administrator to join and support our extended safeguarding team. Reporting to the Safeguarding, Attendance and Student Welfare Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and further improving safeguarding standards, policies and practices across the school.  This includes being a safeguarding liaison for internal and external contacts from an administrative perspective, maintaining relevant databases to ensure they are updated in a timely manner and accurate, and keeping accurate and concise records of all interventions and consultations that take place.

Safeguarding is of paramount importance at King Henry School and the support that the successful candidate will provide is incredibly valuable.  If you are a meticulous worker with excellent attention to detail, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and are resilient, then this is an ideal role for you.  Ideally, our successful candidate will have some experience in a similar educational setting.

The working basis of the role is 36 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset.

Our Vision

We believe that every student should have the opportunity to be extraordinary through developing academic, physical and emotional confidence. This means having the courage to take risks and learn from their mistakes.  Success in education, as in sport, is the result of successive small failures followed by ever increasing challenges.
