of Physics a Chemistry or ICT

Your profil & your tasks
- you are a qualified secondary teacher who holds a Bachelor or a Master’s degree, a Certificate of Education and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- your focus should be on the subjects of chemistry and physics
- you have a passion to teach secondary students in chemistry and physics according to the curriculum and to provide extra-curricular activities extending the students’ competences in the field of digital media
- you are motivated to develop our media concept tailored according to the needs of the school, covering all areas of the various subject curricula
- you are dedicated to enabling all students to achieve their potential
- you can identify with our pedagogical concept and are motivated to implement it creatively together in a team
- you have an interest in learning German and being a part of the German culture and community
- you can speak and teach in English at a high level

About Phorms School Frankfurt
Located in Germany, Frankfurt City and Frankfurt Steinbach/Taunus are co-educational bilingual independent schools. The schools offer provision for students starting in nursery or reception, going up to age 18 and the end of secondary school. The reception, primary and secondary departments are all located on the Campus Frankfurt City. The nursery and another primary and secondary school are located on the Campus Frankfurt Steinbach/Taunus. These campuses have seen significant development and modernisation over the years, and as a result are able to boast of a wide range of teaching and recreational facilities. These include a range of new facilities added by the opening of a brand new purpose-built school building in 2011, housing a swimming pool, numerous modern classrooms, a basketball court, playgrounds and recreational areas for students at every level of the school. The curriculum at Frankfurt is primarily based around the German education system, with students working towards the German Abitur, a university-preparatory qualification, as well as optional North American-style Advanced Placement Programmes. The curriculum at the school also has strong English/German bilingual elements, with students being exposed to and taught in both languages at a young age.

Teachers and Educators at Frankfurt work in a more flexible environment, with less conventional homework being set and smaller class sizes than other schools. Teachers and Educators all be expected to have a strong grasp of both English and German, and to hold appropriate educational qualifications such as a postgraduate diploma.
