We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person to Lead on SEND at UTC Oxfordshire.

The Role is a part-time 26 hours per week, but we have a flexible approach to this appointment.

If you are already a qualified SENDCo and looking for a full-time position, the additional hours can be made up to full time by teaching part of our curriculum. 

If you are a qualified teacher looking for a role as a SENDCo we will support you through your qualification which needs to be obtained within 3 years of initial appointment.

UTC Oxfordshire is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form, serving students from the age of 14-19. Situated in Harwell near Didcot the UTC has a maximum capacity of 600 students. It is part of the Active Learning Education Trust and works with industry partners: BMW Mini, UK Atomic Energy Authority, Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), RM Education, Reaction Engines and Bloodhound SSC and Academic Partners: Oxford Brookes University,  Royal Holloway (University of London) and Reading University.

UTC Oxfordshire opened in 2015 and allows for students to specialise in either science or engineering.
