Avon Valley Academy is a forward-looking and innovative school that is seeking to appoint a Site Technician/ Driver. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our dedicated team in this fantastic 11-16 school.

 

Please note: this position can be split into Site Technician or Driver. If you would like to apply for one of the roles, please clearly state this on the application form. Alternatively, there is the possibility of this being a job-share position.

 

We would like to hear from you if you:

  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, prioritising and scheduling effectively and efficiently
  • Hold a full, clean driving licence and are prepared to drive a mini bus
  • Have strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Have a can-do attitude and be prepared to undertake all types of work
  • Be self-motivated, dedicated, consistent and have a confident personality
  • Be a really strong team player
  • Be interested in developing a career within a growing multi academy trust

 

Roles and responsibilities to include:

  • Unlocking the school gates in the morning (6am – 7am)
  • Driving the minibus to pick up students from Tidworth (7am – 8:30am)
  • Lock up/ site duties (Monday – Thursday: 4pm – 7pm, Fridays: 4pm – 6pm)
  • General maintenance of the vehicles

Avon Valley Academy is a thriving, co-educational school, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 16 years.
