FULL TIME TEACHER OF BIOLOGY

This is a full time permanent post. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a real passion for teaching and learning to contribute to the teaching within this highly successful department. The post is equally suitable for an NQT or more experienced colleague looking for a new challenge. Teachers with experience in the non-selective sector are encouraged to apply. We welcome applicants who are keen to work with high achieving and motivated students. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach Biology at A Level.

About The Norton Knatchbull School
The Norton Knatchbull School is a single-sex, selective, 11-18, international school for boys, situated in Ashford in Kent. It includes a sixth form, where 25% of students in Years 12 and 13 are girls. The selection process requires a pass in the Kent Test for children in Year 7 or a pass in the school’s Casual Admissions Entrance Exam for pupils in Years 8-11. There are 1,185 students currently on the school roll, 255 of whom are sixth-form students.
The Norton Knatchbull School, which was originally named Ashford Grammar School, was founded in 1630 and was given its current name in 1975, after the school’s founder.
