Do you want to share your enthusiasm in a classroom environment and join us a Teacher of Food Technology? Aureus School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher to join the growing team to provide consistent, high quality classroom teaching on a temporary ongoing basis (partially cover maternity leave but also adding additional staffing support). This is a full time or part time temporary position from Monday to Friday, term time only.

Aureus School is a state of the art 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school that opened in Didcot in 2017. As a purpose built school, Aureus has new classrooms using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and visualisers enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners. We are committed to providing an enhancing education where all students achieve academic success. Our inspirational and challenging curriculum allows all abilities to flourish with self-confidence to thrive. Welcome to Aureus School, Didcot's only co-educational 11-16 comprehensive school. We opened our £19 million state of the art building in September 2017 in the Great Western Park and have been expanding our team each year.

Our School
We are a growing community and career prospects at Aureus are exciting. We currently have several professional development opportunities taken up by staff at all stages of their careers. Examples of the type of professional development include working towards Lead Practitioner, NPQSL and NPQH status. Subject specific professional development is a high priority and staff are encouraged to look outwards towards best practice.
