We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of RE to join our Humanities faculty. The post could suit an ECT as well as a more experienced candidate.

The focus at Park Vale Academy is on outstanding achievement for every student through maintaining a culture of extremely high expectations in relation to student conduct and attitudes. Consequently, academic results have improved significantly since the school re-opened in 2016 and the last OFSTED inspection (2021) upgraded the school in every category.

To be successful in this role you will have:

·       QTS

·       Degree level qualification (subject specific)

·       Ability to teach full range of ability 11-16

·       Ability to maintain high standards of discipline

·       Ability to use a range of strategies to promote learning

·       Ability to manage and encourage good behaviour

·       Ability to develop positive and meaningful relationships with students
