An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised efficient administrator who is ambitious and a highly motivated and solution focused person to join our school as a Trainee school business manager. You may have recently graduated with a relevant degree – such as Business Studies, Finance or HR, alternatively you may have worked in a varied office administration or finance role and would now like an opportunity to develop or enhance your career.

We are looking forward to hearing from candidates who are looking to move into a school business management role as the next stage of their career path. 

The successful candidate will:

·        Be committed to undertake training to become a qualified school business manager

·        have a high level of ICT and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·        be able to demonstrate relevant experience in financial management and budget monitoring

·        have an understanding of HR management

·        have an understanding of Health and Safety and Facilities management

·        be able to work well under pressure and enjoy all aspects of organisational and administrative work

·        be able to work to deadlines with initiative and discretion

·        be able to demonstrate accuracy and professionalism in all aspects of the role

·        be highly motivated, be enthusiastic and keen to progress

Salary Range: 35 hours per week/ 52 Weeks per year (5 weeks holiday to be taken during school holidays)

Trainee Starting salary - Scale 3 point 9-12 £21,788 - £23,379. Enhanced salary for candidates on completion of Business Management qualifications up to £35,000.00.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and experience of working with school systems would be an advantage. We have high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards and will be a key player in enabling our school to continue on its journey towards excellence.

Haberdashers' Slade Green Primary is a two-form entry primary school, part of the Haberdashers’  Crayford cluster.

The Haberdashers’ Trust South is a trust of academies that has been educating children in South London since 1876. The Crayford cluster provides schooling for children aged 3-18 with over 1600 children in three schools: Crayford Academy (secondary), Crayford Primary and Slade Green Primary.
