TH Voiced (/ð/) Articulation Cards

TH Voiced (/ð/) Articulation Cards

A set of UK English picture cards containing initial, medial and final TH Voiced (/ð/) words for use in Speech Therapy. Unlike many similar sets and word lists available these cards use UK English words, supporting vocabulary development and proving useful for children with Word Finding as well as Articulation difficulties. The words vary in length allowing for differentiation depending on the level of individual children's mastery of the sound. Each picture card uses a photo to clearly demonstrate the word's meaning, requiring as little interpretation as possible to encourage the child to be able to access them as independently as possible. They can be used as flash cards, as word lists to send home as homework, or for games such as word fishing. The pack contains * 5 blue bordered TH Voiced (/ð/) word picture cards and 11 TH Voiced (/ð/) word cards

Art of Conversation ESL

Art of Conversation ESL

During many ESL classes, students are asked to discuss a set of questions with a partner. All too often this becomes more like an interview, students do not wait for responses before asking the next question. This class attempts to right this wrong and introduce ESL students becoming more conversational when they are talking to people.

144 ESL IELTS Discussion Questions

144 ESL IELTS Discussion Questions

A great way to open up ESL students to discuss a range of questions, they can choose from 8 different types of questions, before being presented with 24 numbers. Then they randomly select a question. It is a great way to have students practice questions, that they might well encounter in part one of an IELTS exam. Also it is a good way to open up the class for discussions on issues that they should be comfortable with.

OCCUPATIONS Memory cards

OCCUPATIONS Memory cards

A memory game is a funny way to learn vocabulary. School year is almost over in most of the countries. Have students review occupations while having fun, matching pictures with the correct words.Comments are appreciated. Playing the Game The first player chooses a card and carefully turns it over. Be sure not to bother the surrounding cards. The player then selects another card and turns it over. If the two cards are a matching pair for example two Jacks then they take the two cards and start a stack. The player is awarded another turn for making a match and goes again. If the cards are not a match they are turned back over and it is now the next players turn. The next player chooses their first card and turns it over. If it is a match for one of the cards the previous player turned over then they try to remember where that matching card was and turn it. If they are successful at making a match they place the cards in their stack and choose another card. If the first card turned over was not a match for one previously turned over the player selects another card in an attempt of making a pair. If they are unsuccessful in making a match they flip the cards back over and play is passed to the next player. A players turn is not over until they are unable to make a matching pair. The game continues in this fashion until all the cards are played.
