Halloween 2017: You Say Game

Halloween 2017: You Say Game

Halloween 2017: You Say Game 31 Halloween Choices/Speaking and listening activity Rules: Split into two or more teams. Toss a coin to see which team goes first. One person from each team takes turns to go to the front of the room, sitting/standing with their back to the whiteboard. In two minutes the rest of the group have to try and describe what is shown on the board to the person at the front. Keywords cannot be used. One point is scored for each word guessed correctly. If a key word is used, the team loses that point and it’s the next team’s turn. https://vimeo.com/237283835

Conditional Clauses with Eminem

Conditional Clauses with Eminem

A brief review of the three different kinds of conditional clauses in the English language, along with examples of their usage as rap lyrics in songs from iconic rapper Eminem (born Marshall Mathers). Students have to determine which type of conditional clauses Eminem uses, and highlight which words helped them reach their conclusion. Perfect as supplemental practice, especially for students who love rap music or maybe think that they're "too cool" for English class.

Morning song!

Morning song!

I noticed my children were coming into my class in a morning fairly tired, so I decided to create something to help them wake up and bring a smile to their faces. This is sung every morning and the class love it! I have had parents speak to me explaining their child won't stop singing it at home and they love it! I feel as though this is a great idea for every class as it does get the children ready to learn! More songs will be made for each half term.
