MATHS SCREENERS for DIFFERENTIATION - Years 2 to 5 - Place Value/Number/Decimals/Patterns/Algebra

MATHS SCREENERS for DIFFERENTIATION - Years 2 to 5 - Place Value/Number/Decimals/Patterns/Algebra

These screeners are based on the Australian Curriculum and have ACARA references. They have been developed to complement my IMP programs and provide the skill targets for an Intervention Program. There are 4 screeners (2 pages each) for each year level from Year 2 to Year 5. All the answers are included. I have also added Class Overviews which you can use after you have administered a screener to the whole class. Collating the results can be done by a teaching assistant or willing volunteer and you will have a good preliminary idea of the range of skills and the degree of differentiation required. I have a free sample in my shop for you to get an idea of the organisation and content. The screeners are basic and give diagnostic information to identify and manage intervention groups. They provide a range of data to begin group work targeting skill deficits. You will identify further scaffolding requirements as you go, but these screeners are the first step. My IMP programs are ideal to provide the intervention necessary and the games I use consolidate these skills. I've been doing it this way for years now, and I know it works. I have a bundle containing the four programs for a school-wide intervention strategy. I also have bundles at year levels with the games that target skill deficits specific to that year level if you want to go that way.
