About the role: LAT Apprenticeships are currently looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Assessor to support learners who are engaged in Teaching Assistant apprenticeships.

Assessors will manage a caseload of learners with the coaching and delivery being carried out via blended learning, predominantly e-learning with some face to face delivery.  

The successful candidate will be reliable, self-disciplined and remain calm under pressure. They will be self-motivated, organised, adaptable and have an eye for detail. We are looking for an assessor with ability to bring their own innovative ideas and training/assessing experience to an open and forward-thinking business. The role of an Assessor is hands-on working with our learners, employers and end-point assessment organisations. Using a variety of teaching and assessing techniques,  you will ensure that the highest standards of bespoke learning is offered, making a difference in the lives of learners, but also increasing standards and reputation of the Industry

As a qualified and experienced Apprenticeship Assessor/Coach you can expect: 

  • Competitive salary  
  • 25 days+ bank holidays (pro rata)

There may be a requirement to travel up to 30-mile radius in this role, covering Kent and South-East London.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary ranging between £24,966 - £30,538 per annum, commensurate with experience. The role can also be offered on Term Time + 4 weeks of inset (42 weeks) with a salary ranging between £22,648 - £27,702 per annum. Please be aware that interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis, therefore, early applications are strongly encouraged.

As an apprentice, you will either work on-site at one of our academies or in a locally-based company who partner with LAT Apprenticeships as a full-time employee, receiving fully funded apprenticeship training and the support of a dedicated mentor. You will have the opportunity to regularly visit a school-setting for your training and will work with our highly successful and talented apprenticeship teams.
