We are looking to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and talented Assistant Head Teacher with a proven track record of success and improvement as well as previous experience of sixth form. As a member of the leadership team, you would be responsible for the strategic direction of the school, have significant responsibilities and the opportunity to make a considerable impact on the future lives of our children. The ideal candidate would be determined, enthusiastic, ambitious and an excellent practitioner.

 

2019     OFSTED Good with an outstanding sixth form.

2019     Sixth form progress in the top 25% of schools nationally.

2021     87% of students achieved grades 9-4 in both GCSE English and Maths and ALPS 2 progress in the sixth form. 

2022    79% of students achieved grades 9-4 in both GCSE English and Maths and ALPS 3 progress in the sixth form.

•       Ability to deliver A-level highly desirable but not essential 

•       57% of students achieved A*-B grades at A-level

•       86% grade 4+ at GCSE

•       72% grade 5+ at GCSE

St Martin’s is an over-subscribed, friendly, co-educational, fully comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. We are a 10 minute walk from Shenfield station which can take you into Liverpool Street in 20 minutes.
