Wybers Wood Academy are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to join our academy in September 2022 on a full-time permanent basis.

Your new school
Wybers Wood is a large primary academy with over 400 pupils on roll (aged from 4 to 11) where excellent attainment and progress for pupils are consistently maintained. We are situated to the west of Grimsby and serve a large leafy housing estate and some of the outlying villages. We take great pride in creating a warm and friendly environment and a positive culture for learning so that our children are given opportunities to excel. We place great emphasis on the social and emotional development of our pupils, alongside the encouragement of a love for learning so they can achieve their full potential academically. High emphasis is placed on pupil and staff well-being to make Wybers Wood Academy a great place to be.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the dedication, vision and drive to lead and inspire. As an Assistant Principal, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and you will deputise for the Head of Academy in their absence. You will provide proactive support to the Head of Academy, Executive Principal and AAB members to ensure the leadership and management of the academy operates effectively. Your role will be to lead, firstly as a highly effective classroom practitioner that will model outstanding practice as well as undertaking monitoring of the provision, inclusion and achievement for all pupils.
