As well as assisting with and contributing to the supervision and pastoral care of the boarders, this person has responsibility for liaising closely with the school Health Centre on matters relating to the health of each student and liaising with relevant teams across Taunton School to maintain a smart and welcoming site.

No formal qualifications are necessary, however, any pastoral or first aid qualifications are an advantage as are numeracy, literacy, IT and communications skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of working with children.

Our School ethos is of a shared responsibility and positive contribution from all to the life and work of this busy boarding and day community. This is what makes Taunton School such a thriving, energetic and well-rounded Independent School. We offer a competitive package and an outstanding educational environment in which to work.
