Salary information: Scale 6, £26,724 - £27,622 per annum + Special Schools allowance; £1,219.

Contract type: Permanent role in Ickenham, West London.

Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only (39 weeks).

Pentland Field School are seeking to appoint a Careers and Transitions Lead. The successful applicant will have responsibility for ensuring the school meets the Gatsby Benchmarks. The post will require strategic leadership in delivering a stable careers programme. The postholder will have responsibility for preparing students for adulthood, through smooth co-ordination of transitions. 

Pupils are aged from 4 to 19. They have a moderate to severe learning disability, an Autistic Spectrum Condition diagnosis, or present with more complex social and communication difficulties. A small but significant group of pupils have Higher Sensory Processing Needs. Class teams include experienced LSAs, and are supported by specialist therapy staff.
