Cross-college maths is a challenging, demanding but rewarding area of the College. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maths lecturer, who is an organised and enthusiastic teacher seeking the next step in their career.  We are seeking a Course Team Leader for Maths, to help co-ordinate and support the development and delivery of the GCSE and Functional Skills Maths curriculum, teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to vocational learners.

You will need to possess a relevant degree and an advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. PGCE / DET).  You should also have at least two years’ experience of delivering GCSE or Functional Skills English or Maths successfully and an excellent knowledge of the subject area.  You should be able to supervise and motivate the team and have the ability to work effectively with other curriculum teams and advise on the embedding of Maths in the College.
