Curriculum Lead – Science

e are looking to appoint a highly effective and inspirational Curriculum Lead for Science. Are you an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of implementing and delivering a creative curriculum that captures and inspires young people, leading to excellent outcomes?

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Faculty Lead for Science to develop the STEM curriculum across EOTAS provisions. You will have the vision to lead teaching and learning to the next level. You will motivate students, engage parents and raise student’s aspiration in order to provide them with best opportunities and outcomes. We have high expectations in the classroom, alongside targeted pastoral support and intervention for students and families. You will be responsible for a tutor group, a key and essential part of working for EOTAS.

Your experience and skill set will determine which site you will be based. We are developing leadership across EOTAS. Candidates with a strong pastoral background and experience, may be also be offered the opportunity to become a year leader. This would mean being a member of the provision leadership team and the raising standards strategy group.

EOTAS is made up of 3 unique Colleges with sites across Swindon. Each College has a unique client group but all have the common goal – supporting young people and their families through challenging circumstances in order for them to achieve and move on to positive destinations.

• A passion for teaching and learning, understanding the needs of vulnerable young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)

• A sound knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice in regards to your teaching and delivery.
