We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Curriculum Leader of History to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically leading the direction and development of the curriculum area in accordance with the aims and objectives of the school. They will raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the curriculum area by ensuring the provision of an appropriately relevant and differentiated curriculum for all students, and by developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others.


This is a 1 FTE, permanent contract, with a negotiable salary dependant on experience.


We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

 

  • has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • will make a difference in changing children’s life chances.
  • has the skills and abilities to support children of all abilities and personal needs.
  • can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
  • has the ability to form effective relationships with students and parents/carers.
