The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and dynamic teacher of Design Technology to teach across the key stages. The precise nature of the post can be adapted in light of the successful candidate’s strengths. The successful candidate will join a dynamic school where inspirational leadership and hard work from across the school has transformed performance against every measure. Results in 2020 & 2021 were outstanding both at GCSE and A Level. Ysgol Brynhyfryd is a mixed, non-selective, maintained secondary school located in Ruthin, Denbighshire, North Wales. Brynhyfryd is a bilingual school, with an estimated 35% of its student body speaking Welsh as a first language. The school serves 1,058 pupils aged 11-18, with 185 in its sixth form.
Ysgol Brynhyfryd was founded in 1898 as Ruthin County School for Girls, before converting to a mixed, co-educational institution in 1938.

They use subject terminology confidently and make valuable progress in their subject knowledge and skills.
