Job overview

The North East Learning Trust is looking for a talented and forward-thinking individual to spearhead our quality agenda. Going above and beyond a traditional quality assurance role, our Director of Quality Assurance, Innovation and Compliance will lead a relentless pursuit for excellence.

You will ensure that exemplary teaching and learning practice, performance and evaluation methodology, and professional development schemes are implemented consistently and energetically across the Trust and provide strategic leadership in shaping NELTs quality agenda both today and for our future growth.

This brand new post will strengthen an established culture of partnership working across our 11 schools and ensure that our Trust vision of excellence for every child every day is delivered through the implementation of innovative and cutting-edge ways of working.

Our ideal candidate is an exceptional and inspirational leader who understands and embraces current educational thinking with a track record of success at a senior level within a school, multi-academy trust or other educational institution. You will be part of the Executive Board but as a talented teacher, you would be equally comfortable in the classroom as in the boardroom.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role, at board level, in shaping the future of The North East Learning Trust and further your career as part of an innovative and ambitious organisation.
