As demand for high-quality edtech increases, we’re now looking for an outstanding English Curriculum Specialist to create original, engaging content for our learning platform within the curriculum team. 

This role also includes demonstrating the platform to prospective schools or partners and delivering training on how best to use CENTURY to support teachers and learners across various contexts.

Responsibilities & Duties – Reporting to the English Lead:   

  • Map comprehensive English language and literature courses in line with various specifications & curricula as required   
  • Create educational content – slideshows, videos and questions   
  • Quality assure slideshows, videos & questions   
  • Create and build suitable courses to meet specific requirements

Responsibilities & Duties – Reporting to the Curriculum Leads:   

  • Map comprehensive courses in line with various specifications & curricula as required   
  • Create educational content for other courses – slideshows, videos and questions   
  • Demonstrate our online platform to potential new schools or partners   
  • Train and equip existing schools or partners with the knowledge and skills to embed the use of the platform in their practice   
  • Deliver training on how best to use CENTURY to support teachers and learners in other contexts

Specific requirements :   

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)   
  • Right to work in the UK   
  • Experience teaching at GCSE level    
  • Extensive subject knowledge   
  • Experience creating engaging learning resources and assessments (for young people or adults)   
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills   
  • Outstanding attention to detail   
  • Able to take the initiative and go the extra mile   
  • Passionate about the difference that technology can make to outcomes of all learners
