Reporting to our SENCO’s, we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to become an integral member of the Learning Support Department and undertake the coordinating, planning, arrangement and submission of Exam Access Arrangements for learners across Eaton Grange in line with Awarding Body regulations.


The post holder will be expected to work in a flexible, proactive manner and carry out whatever is necessary to ensure that access arrangements are in place for those entitled, in a timely and responsive manner.

The post is part time, term time but full time may be considered – for Part time, the days and hours of work are to be agreed with the post holder prior to appointment, however it is anticipated that if part time, the role will be 5 days per week during internal and external examinations and 3 days per week outside of these times. Full time candidates will be expected to teach small groups as part of the SEN Team.

The ideal candidate will have:

 

·        Experience of working in a learning support role in an educational setting.

·        Experience of assessing students to initiate Exam Access Arrangements.

·        A Level 7 Specialist Assessor in accessing for Access arrangements qualification.

·        A clear understanding of how the Exam Access Arrangement process runs and what is required by JCQ.
