Job overview

We are looking for a School Finance Manager to provide direction, advice and leadership of the school finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has the drive and ambition to be a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be provided with support, training and development opportunities to work at the level required.

The post-holder will be responsible for all aspects of finance across the academy. This will include reporting to the Trust Finance Manager and liaising with various senior leaders, as well as managing the finance team. 

Hollingworth Academy is now one of two schools in the recently formed Hollingworth Learning Trust along with Newhouse Academy. Hollingworth Learning Trust’s core purpose is to make a real positive difference to the lives of its children. Its role as a sponsor of both schools is to provide the support, challenge, expertise and resources necessary to significantly improve the provision for education.

Start date : February/March 2022

Salary : The expected range is NJC Points 23 to 27, £27,741 - £31,346 all year round

The salary will be negotiated upon appointment. 

This post is subject to performance management.
