Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES), recently judged by Ofsted Inspection as “officially good and on our way to outstanding”, is the largest local authority adult education service in London and one of the largest in the country. The Role
We are looking for an experienced technician to support our Fine Art team in our high quality purpose-built art studio. The post is based at our Lisson Grove Centre near Marylebone and comprises 10 hours of work a week in term time.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of health and safety practice in fine art, experience of stock control, very good communication and team-working skills, confident ICT skills, enthusiasm for art and design, and a recognised qualification in the field. Duties will include preparing materials and equipment for classes, maintaining and organising stock, mounting and exhibiting artwork, and some in-class supervision of students.
