Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Academic Support to join a school based in Surrey.
The School is one of the leading Independent Day and Boarding Schools in the country providing an education for over 800 pupils. The School is all-boys from 11-16 and has a co-educational Sixth Form.
The Academic Support Department supports learners with specific learning difficulties and pupils with disabilities. They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an excellent knowledge of supporting learners with a range of SpLDs to oversee the successful running of this dynamic department.
The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in teaching pupils with SpLDs and will have experience of teaching and assessing pupils. The Head of Academic Support will work closely with the Director of Teaching and Learning and will report to the Deputy Head, Curriculum.
