This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic, well-qualified and inspirational teacher with a proven track record to lead this highly successful Department. Biology is one of the most popular Sixth Form subjects at this school, and girls achieve outstanding GCSE and A Level results.
Candidates should be keen to encourage creativity, helping every girl to become confident and effective learners in biology, and will be able to make their own mark on teaching and learning through the School. The successful candidate should be able to teach all year groups to A Level and be interested in challenging and enriching those considering medicine, veterinary and science at University. This is a thriving, well-resourced Department, based in a custom built Science Block and supported by a team of well-qualified Technicians.
This is a leading Catholic Independent boarding and day School for girls aged 11-18 situated in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London and 40 minutes from Gatwick. The School has a tradition of academic achievement with impressive GCSE and A Level results, a vibrant and eclectic extra-curricular provision and an enviable reputation for pastoral care.

The school has its own salary scale and the salary package for this position will reflect the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
